With its climbing habit and interesting foliage, pothos makes a great houseplant. It is also extremely easy to grow and always looks great, making it ideal for beginners or as a low-maintenance addition to a larger indoor garden.
There are many varieties of pothos to choose from, but the most popular, rarer varieties are the pothos which come in a variety of colours and have interesting leaf shapes. They make a particularly striking feature in the home.
Pothos plants can be displayed in a variety of ways to get the most out of them – hanging down from a hanging basket or pot on a shelf or windowsill, growing upright as a vine, or growing horizontally on a flat surface. Also, keep pothos pruned to keep it compact.
Pothos are easy to care for, as they thrive in a wide range of growing conditions. They will tolerate low light, but look best when they receive some natural light. Pothos hate waterlogged roots, so only water once every week or two when the top layer of soil in the pot has dried out. Fertilize your pothos in the spring and again in the summer.

Baltic Blue is truly one of the most beautiful varieties of pothos, with deep blue-green leaves with dramatic monstera-like markings on the sides. It is ideal for adding texture to your interior.
This is a versatile plant that can be grown vertically, horizontally or hanging from a hanging basket. However, when young, it makes a great addition to a tabletop. You can keep it compact by pinching off new growth, which will also encourage fuller growth.

Tolerant of a wide range of growing conditions, the Albo pothos is suitable for most homes. It prefers bright light but will survive in lower light levels – although it will grow more slowly and have more subtle leaf colour.
