Ruggable and Goop just launched a collection of soft and cool rugs

We love Ruggable at The Spruce, and their latest collaboration is one we’re definitely buying. Gwyneth Paltrow’s comfort-loving wellness company, goop, has teamed up with washable rug brand Goop to launch a new line of neutral rugs with a refreshingly cool aesthetic.

Of course, when we heard that this beloved health and lifestyle company was teaming up with Ruggable for a new line, we were immediately interested. Now, after seeing the rugs, we can’t wait to bring them all into our own spaces.

“We hope these luxurious, washable rugs will stay in your mind as a special memory for years to come,” Paltrow told The Spruce.

Make your home your sanctuary

As a major and well-known advocate of self-care, it’s no surprise to learn that both Paltrow and goop are focused on promoting the idea that our homes are our sanctuaries. With Ruggable, this is even easier to achieve.

“A home is the setting for our most special memories: playing on the floor with our kids, a lively dinner party with old friends, a rare quiet moment curled up with a book,” Paltrow shares.

Clearly in design, Ruggable’s latest collaboration perfectly encapsulates this idea. Each of Paltrow’s rugs evokes softness, warmth, and luxury. Combined with Ruggable’s famous washable rug concept, the entire collection is both functional and fashionable.

How the versatile, easy-to-use color palette was born

With Paltrow’s California-cool style at its core, the line also boasts a soft, calming color palette of beiges, grays, blues, and greens. This range of choices makes each rug easy to fit into any space—and any room in the house.

“The sophisticated and versatile designs make it easy to style the home, whether as a cozy piece in the bedroom, a chic accent piece in the living space, or a moment of peace in a busy hallway,” says Cassandra Leisz, senior creative director at Ruggable.

Simple, relaxing and luxurious

As a wellness brand, goop’s goal is to help people elevate their everyday lives into something luxurious and relaxing. By partnering with Ruggable, the brand is only pushing that idea further—and best of all, the whole family can enjoy it.

“For Ruggable x goop, we focused on precious moments, blurring form and function to create a premium organic neutral collection with prints and textures inspired by our travels,” says Paltrow.

The collection of eight rugs features Spanish Renaissance and Indian Dhurrie influences, available in flat weave, tufted and back-woven styles.

Flexibility and functionality are key

With so many options, there really is something to suit every home, although the variety of colors, patterns and textures used are aesthetically pleasing.

Leisz says organic modern, coastal Mediterranean, and warm contemporary styles were the initial inspirations for this collaboration, but the rugs are certainly not limited to those room styles.

“The simple yet beautiful patterns will work with many different design styles and interiors,” says Leisz.

In fact, it’s more about how you use different design styles. Leisz suggests evaluating both your design and your space before deciding. She says you can use them to lighten up a bright, airy room or, if needed, add contrast to a dark, gloomy space.

“The subtle patterns also mean these rugs are the perfect mix of neutral tones and a variety of accent colours,” adds Leisz.

She also suggests incorporating designs based on your emotional goals for your space. Stick with deep or vibrant tones for a bolder look. But leaning toward pale pinks, sage greens, and natural blues will create something more calming.

But no matter which design or combination you choose, this collection has one clear mission: to beautify the home you love.
